Hey! My Eyes Look Bigger!
Posted on June 1st, 2010
I think most people know about circle lenses by now so there’s no need for me to introduce it. I’ve never been too fond of circle lenses after my first experience with it. I bought a pair of Geo Nudy Brown with my friend last year. However, it just didn’t work for me. It hurt my eyes so much that I wanted to rip them out right after I put them on. No way was I going to use something that hurt my eyes. (And yes, they are authentic so that wasn’t the problem). I thought maybe it was just that type of lens that didn’t work for me. After much hesitation, I decided to try another pair a year later. Click pictures to enlarge.

This time I decided to get the Geo Fresh Look Brown since I like lens that look really natural as opposed to crazy colored ones.

Ewy. Naked eye and my pretty much nonexistent double eye lid.

With the lens. Woops, blurry pic.
I prefer these Fresh Look Brown lens over the Nudy Brown ones anytime! These look so much more natural. It doesn’t even look like I’m wearing circle lens. The last thing I would want is to look like I have alien-ish lizard eyes. Comfort wise, it was a bit uncomfortable when I first put it on, but it did get a bit more comfortable after a couple of minutes. I think circle lens take some time to get used to since they are bigger than regular contact lens. But nonetheless, I’m liking these contacts! Great for camwhoring moments! LOL
I bought this circle lens from vivid-beauty.com and I highly recommend them! They have a nice range of lenses to choose from and prices are reasonable too. My lens cost only $18 a pair with free shipping in the US. I’ve seen alot of other places charge more than $20 and even $30 for a pair. The owner, Tammy, is also super nice with great communication! I’m definitely ordering my next lenses from her. Shipping was really fast and she also includes delivery confirmation so you know exactly where you package is at the moment. She also has pretty nice promotions such as buy 2 get next pair 1/2 off, and buy 4 get 1 free. There’s also a refer-a-friend program where you refer a friend, and you get $2 off your order and your friend gets $1 off theres. Get a free pair when you refer 6 friends! If anyone decides to order from them, I’d greatly appreciate it if you mentioned me as a referral (just mention my blog and name), but that’s totally up to you of course. Note that I’m not paid to do this review. I just really want more people to take notice to this great and reliable site!
Have you tried circle lenses? Any recommendations?
Oh one last thing, BEAT LA BEAT LA! *Celtics mode*

The lenses look really nice, but is it just me because I can’t see the picture of your eyes with the lens on!?
I’m fine with my eyes at the moment. I like my eyes. Haha.
Oh and of course, BEAT LA! BEAT LA! :D

Circle lens are a staple in my morning routine, though I do occasionally leave the house without them (probably in t-shirt and sweats too). I’ve stayed away from brown lenses in the past because they all looked really fake on my eyes (I have really dark eyes), but I love how natural yours look! I’m gonna bookmark that site, thanks so much for sharing!

Your contacts look pretty nice!
I have never seen anyone live that wears these kind of contacts. They looks pretty cool and neat though. My friend has a blue pair, but she never wore it in front of me like she said she would. :\ Maybe I’ll ask her to wear it for me to see…hehes.
I don’t wear contacts or glasses. :\ But I do want glasses though… :S

I’ve heard about these contact lenses, they look super cute and I’ve been tempted to buy myself a pair time and time again but I’m too scared to. I have that fear of just damaging my eye.
They look so pretty on your eyes
They make them stand out more. I guess if I ever go to try them I’ll buy them from there and I’ll make sure I refer you!

I’ve been wearing these for a few years now. I don’t wearing them regularly though. I had a pair of natural looking black ones before that I wore sometimes.
I’m currently have the Besvue Hyper Grey, it’s about $35 for a pair. I know GEO lens are much cheaper ($13-$15 from some places). However my friend tried GEO ones and she said they hurt her eye. That put me off buying that brand.
You should try the brand Besvue, it is more expensive but they are super comfortable to wear. Not many places do Besvue brand because its expensive and the range isn’t as big (they only do black/brown/grey ranges). G&G / Dueba is also a good brand, they were the first ones I tried. Again more expensive then GEO but it’s comfortable to wear. They have a massive range of colours as well.
I might give GEO a try as they do have a few nice colours that I really want, like green and violet.

but with no money and no purpose ooh AND the strictness of my mother, i don’t think i’ll ever get them. I’d like to see how i’d look with them too though. But then again, i dont like anything near my eye. Except that one odd time an eyelash gets in.
