Ugly Books

Maybe it’s just me but I hate how some books have really plain covers (or should I say no cover at all?). I borrowed this book from my college library and boy was I super excited to read this just by looking at the cover. I have to do a book review for my history of Japan class so I chose Sessue Hayakawa, who is the first Asian to find stardom in the United States. It should be pretty interesting, but I really don’t want to spend my spring break reading 300 pages of words! Bleh, I better start this now before I regret it.
It’s finally going to hit the 50′s this weekend in Massachusetts! I’m so excited because I’m so sick of winter. I need my blue skies, chirping birds, and the bright sunshine!
Oh, and I just got paid $10.50 from Chitika today! It’s a pay-per-click ad program, which you can even click on the ads yourself when you have time so you can earn $$$. When a book has such a plain cover it reminds me of a bible :p I guess the whole point is to not judge a book by it’s cover?! hahah

Lol, what happened to not judging a book by its cover? Jkjk, I’m guilty of doing the same myself, and not just to books either.
I took Google Adsense off my site because I’ll probably never reach the $100 payout, but I’ll give Chitika a try! Where are your ads though? I don’t see them on your site at all.

I hear ya about boring covers on books. I’m not a big reader anyway though (oops!).
When I had to read stuff for college, I used sparknotes.com (I think that’s the address). Not exactly..the proper way to do things.. but it does help alot. Gives you a summary and it explains things so if you read but didn’t understand, it might can help. Goodluck with that though!
The song didn’t do much for me but it’s just not my style is all.

Keep a bit each day then it doesn’t seem like loads. That’s what I use to do when I had to read books for class.

Can’t wait to see more from Beast! Let me know if and when there’s any new stuff, that video is too short! lol.
And well, you know what they say about “don’t judge a book by its cover” lol. But sometimes, I find that the boring-looking ones, or the plain ones can be quite interesting. It’s almost as if the cover is saying that it doesn’t need to be all bright and interesting; the content is what matters.
