My cell phone plan with AT&T officially expired two days ago so now I’m pretty much doing a month-to-month thing with them for now. I’m discussing with my family about switching over to T-mobile since their plans are cheaper than AT&T. I don’t even have text right now but even with texting plans, T-mobile is still cheaper. Anyone have any feedback about T-mobile’s services?

I’m also thinking about buying an unlocked phone online. I have the Sony Ericsson W580i right now. It’s a nice phone and it’s pink. but I want to get a touchscreen phone with wi-fi. I’m pretty much eBay-stalking phones everyday. There’s so many auctions on my watch list but I just don’t want to press that bid button and watch $100+ fly out of my bank account =[. I kind of want the LG Renoir. It’s an old phone with it has a 8MP camera and wi-fi capabilities!

The NBA Finals is over but I still want to make a post for my Boston Celtics. It’s such a pity that they didn’t win the championship (*ahem rigged referees). They were doing so well in the first half in game 7. I was looking forward to a parade in Boston (I know Maggie @makeuploveforever will agree right?! :D). Oh well, it was still a great season for the Celtics. I won’t forget the time when the whole crowd chanted MVP for Rajon Rondo. I was talking with my friend the other day and we wondered what could possibly happen to the Celtics when the Big Three retires.. since I believe they all are in the 30′s now. I hope the Celtics won’t be like the Red Sox and take like 86 years to win a championship :X (Let’s not jynx this!). But still the Big Four forever! Team Celtics anyone?!

This time I decided to get the Geo Fresh Look Brown since I like lens that look really natural as opposed to crazy colored ones.

I prefer these Fresh Look Brown lens over the Nudy Brown ones anytime! These look so much more natural. It doesn’t even look like I’m wearing circle lens. The last thing I would want is to look like I have alien-ish lizard eyes. Comfort wise, it was a bit uncomfortable when I first put it on, but it did get a bit more comfortable after a couple of minutes. I think circle lens take some time to get used to since they are bigger than regular contact lens. But nonetheless, I’m liking these contacts! Great for camwhoring moments! LOL

I bought this circle lens from vivid-beauty.com and I highly recommend them! They have a nice range of lenses to choose from and prices are reasonable too. My lens cost only $18 a pair with free shipping in the US. I’ve seen alot of other places charge more than $20 and even $30 for a pair. The owner, Tammy, is also super nice with great communication! I’m definitely ordering my next lenses from her. Shipping was really fast and she also includes delivery confirmation so you know exactly where you package is at the moment. She also has pretty nice promotions such as buy 2 get next pair 1/2 off, and buy 4 get 1 free. I went to Sephora recently to return the Make Up For Ever HD Primer in Mauve because in my opinion, that primer did nothing at all for me. I exchanged it for the Duo Mat Powder Foundation and also picked up the BeautyInsider birthday gift.

Has anyone tried the Duo Mat Foundation? I figured it’s the summer and I’m usually very oily and sweaty in the summer so I needed a foundation that would keep me matte. I picked up shade 203 even though I wasn’t sure whether this is the right shade for me. I used it for the first time today and my first impression was good. I felt that looked a bit cakey and flaky on me. It did keep me matte longer than I would be with other powder foundation, but I didn’t think the foundation was spectacular since I still had to blot my face. With it costing $32 for so little product, I probably wouldn’t be repurchasing. I’d rather use my Milani Minerals Compact Foundation, which I am loving and is like a 1/4 the price of the MUFE foundation. I’m probably going to try it a few more times and if I’m not satisfied, I shall exchange for something else at Sephora. Oh how I just love the return and exchange policy at Sephora.

Any current product recommendations?! I still have a Sephora giftcard that my brother gave me for my birthday. I’m thinking maybe I should splurge on some skincare products instead. Anyone know of any good products that treats uneven skintone or redness?

Ironically, I remember hating to sit next to a classmate who was a lefty when I was in middle school. I’m a righty so whenever we are writing, our elbows always bumped into each other. It was so annoying that I wanted to tell him to move over.

But I can’t help but squeal when I see lefties, especially when they are writing. I just find it so cute! I don’t know what it is but something about seeing lefties write is just so attractive.

My latest earring haul from Wholesale-dress! I haven’t bought any earrings since probably 4 years ago, amazingly. I miss earring shopping in China because it’s so cheap there!

Not sure if anyone has bought from Wholesale-dress before, but I definitely did not have a good first experience with them. I ordered a waist belt from them, hoping to get it in time to wear it to my cousin’s wedding. But nope, it never came.. even after 4 months. I contacted them for a refund, but they kept saying they’ll refund me if it doesn’t arrive by ‘this date’. I finally received my refund after several tries, but it’s only store credit. Bleh, so that’s why I decided to get the earrings. The earrings seem pretty decent quality so far, but I haven’t tried it on yet.

When did you get your ears pierced (if you have)?
I got mines pierced when I was a couple years old. I still remembered they gave me a green lollipop so I would stop crying hahas.

My goodness, it is so hot here today! It reached 90 degrees today, which we don’t normally reach until probably August. It’s so rare to see 90-degree weather in April. My school has something we call the “Green Space”, which is basically a lawn where people lay there to tan, play frisbee, and what not. As expected, the Green Space was crowded today with girls tanning in tank tops and short shorts. You won’t see me lying there since I’m not much of a tanner as I think it’s way too dangerous to just lie there and be burned by the sun.

Unfortunately, this weather won’t last. It’s going back to 55 degrees tomorrow. What a temperature drop! Time to put away the flip flops and take out the fleece jacket again

My school’s computing services is finally implementing Windows 7! I’m going in tomorrow to reimage my laptop. Anyone have experiences with Windows 7? How is it?!

I officially hate Google and Youtube.

Last night Youtube suspended my account because I accidentally changed my email back to a gmail account that was used for an old suspended Youtube account (confusing?). I didn’t even know Youtube “bans” emails based on previous suspended accounts. So I had to create a new Youtube account today, and came upon this whole mess of HAVING to link a Google account with Youtube. Even if you try to sign up with Youtube with a Yahoo account, it’ll treat it as a “Google” account. So when you log off Youtube, it’ll log you off gmail. It definitely doesn’t help when I have Gmail Notifier and iGoogle. Whenever I log into Youtube, gmail and igoogle would log into the wrong Google account.

I’m sure reading that doesn’t make any sense to you, but those that have experienced this should know the pain. UGHHH, Google and Youtube needs to do something about this. I heard some people can’t even manage their company Youtube without being linked to their personal Google account. Man, ever since the whole merge, all updates on Youtube has been shitty as heck.

Now I have to use IE to browse Youtube, just so it doesn’t mess up my gmail and igoogle. (And I hate IE!)

I read on the news today that Boston signed up in hopes get a piece of this Google network. What I thought was funny was that the City Hall even made a Facebook page so people can become fans of this idea. I don’t exactly live in Boston, but I heard my town also applied for this contest. I seriously want in on this! Google won’t announce the winners until the end of this year. What a long wait!

This has got to be one of my favorite songs right now. The meaning behind this song is just so beautiful and amazing. I love Safetysuit because their lyrics are so awesome! I interpret this song as a girl who has low self-esteem about how she looks and the guy wants to do everything he can to tell her that she’s beautiful. I can totally relate to this song and I’m sure others can too. Like in the lyrics, sometimes you just don’t want to look in the mirror because you are always dissatisfied about the way you look. Ironically, the girl’s name is similar to mines. Perhaps a wake up call to me? Hah.

Welcome spring! What a great way to welcome spring with 70-degree weather. I just loved today because it felt like summer. I threw down my homework and took a nice stroll at the park.

But what sucks is that it’s going to be 48 degrees tomorrow, making it a 20 degree weather change. ARGH, I hate this weather change. Last year this happened a lot and I got sick so many times due to the weather change. More rain on Monday and Tuesday.. exactly what I needed after all the floods on Monday.

Anyways, I can’t wait till the green grass and flowers grow back so I can whip out my DSLR camera!
