I don’t know much about networks and Internet, but did anyone hear about Google’s ultra high-speed broadband networks? It’s supposed to bring 1 gigabit per second! Oh la la, how heavenly would that be.

I read on the news today that Boston signed up in hopes get a piece of this Google network. What I thought was funny was that the City Hall even made a Facebook page so people can become fans of this idea. I don’t exactly live in Boston, but I heard my town also applied for this contest. I seriously want in on this! Google won’t announce the winners until the end of this year. What a long wait!

Any Internet junkies out there? What do you think?

This has got to be one of my favorite songs right now. The meaning behind this song is just so beautiful and amazing. I love Safetysuit because their lyrics are so awesome! I interpret this song as a girl who has low self-esteem about how she looks and the guy wants to do everything he can to tell her that she’s beautiful. I can totally relate to this song and I’m sure others can too. Like in the lyrics, sometimes you just don’t want to look in the mirror because you are always dissatisfied about the way you look. Ironically, the girl’s name is similar to mines. Perhaps a wake up call to me? Hah.

Blah Blah Blah

What is up with music these days?

Mainstream music just disgusts me these days with their horrible lyrics. Switch on the radio and most songs you’ll hear are either about sex, being drunk, or getting laid. What ever happened to the meaning of music?

I know Kesha’s getting really popular these days but her lyrics are disgusting! Listen to Tik Tok or Blah Blah Blah if you don’t know what I mean. I admit that her songs did get stuck in my head one time, but that’s only because the radio keeps playing it 24/7. It’s a great song to listen to in the club or whatever (or when you’re drunk). It’s even worse that children are singing along to her songs without even knowing what they are really singing about.

What do you think?
